Missouri Cycling Highways (or MOCH) is a network of useful cycling routes for daily commuting or recreation in the St. Louis area and beyond. MOCH routes are cycling-friendly, low-traffic and as flat as possible.

Good question Hannah, the reason I didn't use Manchester is the density of traffic, and the craziness of that traffic at the intersections at McCausland and Kingshighway. Also I felt that using Southwest would give people more options for side routes. That particular section of Manchester has very few "thru" side streets. In the end, safety is the biggest concern, and that is why I chose Southwest even though it is a beast of a hill.
the section of southwest under 44 is evil when you're eastbound. why not manchester?
